It was nice to see Henne step up on this level. That was a big game and he showed leadership and execution. What kills me is the balance Miami just can't grasp. If Miami finds ways to put pressure on Brady, doesn't find themselves continuously trailing the receivers, the game's outcome is different. But last year I found myself thinking, "If we could just balance this defense with a better offense we'd be contenders.

Game one of this season and I'm scratching my head. But it's just one game. Let's hope the defense shapes up and the offense builds on what was done last night.

I actually don't think the Phins are as bad as (previously?) advertised.

They have some key pieces in place...

Franchise LT
BIG WR threat in the passing game
Solid MLB (Dansby)
Pass Rushers
Skill position talent in backfield
Above Avg to Good Corners/Safeties
Solid 3-4 LB corps

QB play, Divisional Opponents, and Coaching (perhaps?) will hold them back....but they are a talented team.
