Re: Official NFL Injury Thread

I'm getting sick and tired of hearing about "The Knee" every single day.

Re: Official NFL Injury Thread

I just want them to start playing. If he can make it through Monday Night, then hopefully the hysteria will die down, though it probably wont.

Re: Official NFL Injury Thread

Man, I'm starting to wonder how Matt Flynn has gotten so many cracks at a starting job in the first place. Just going off of his NFL career:

  • Had one good game against the Lions' bad secondary
  • Turns that into a 3-yr, $19.5 mil contract with $10 mil guaranteed and a starting job basically handed to him; fails to beat out 3rd-rounder deemed too short
  • Eventually traded to Oakland and basically handed a starting job YET AGAIN; currently being outplayed by a guy some, if not most, consider a project a QB with supposedly poor mechanics

Even going back to college, the dude couldn't beat out JaMarcus Russell for the starting job. Russell would end up being a #1 pick, but still... I'm trying to figure out what these GMs and coaches see or saw in the guy because it's pretty apparent that "it" factor isn't there.

No no. Pryor definitely has poor mechanics. He admitted to not knowing how to throw a football prior to this offseason.

@mestevo

What? Who? Flynn has tendonitis (supposedly)--Kolb is the one with the potentially career-ending concussion.

Re: Official NFL Injury Thread

Andre Brown broke his ****ing leg tho.

So knowing Coughlin he will replace him with other trash running back veterans rather than use the young guys we drafted and refused to play for 3 years.

EDIT: In retrospect Tom was right!
