Kansas City heads to Detroit after a beatdown at the hands of Buffalo. They also lost perhaps their best defensive player from last year for the season. Pretty much everything about week one was negative for them.

Detroit comes in with a 5 game regular season winning streak. They also, for the first time in forever, have more road wins then losses for at least some part of the year. Also, the Lions are favored by 9 points in this matchup. This is the most they have been favored by since Wk 17 of the 00-01 season.

A lot of signs are pointing to a big Detroit win, but I think I hear Admiral Ackbar calling...

I think this will be an 0-2 start for the Chiefs. I like Detroits front four, and the Cj/Stafford connection in this one.

The only way I see the Chiefs winning the game is if the Lions give us the game. The Lions front four should be able to have their way with our OLine. All I want is for Suh not to hurt Cassel...or anyone else on the team for that matter.

In normal circumstances I would call this a trap too, but it is the home opener (sold out) and they can't lose this one.

No Eric Berry is a huge loss for the Chiefs D. I imagine the Lions will have a gameplan for Tamba Hali. Also, KC has dangerous ST's, so Hanson should just fire it into the endzone every kick off. If we can get a lead early, they'll have to lean on the passing game more, thus giving Charles less touches.

Its any given Sunday. I have faith that we can beat the lions on paper this looks like a easy win for Detroit but it doesn't matter what's on paper we will win this game

Chiefs will play much better, but this is going to be a very tough game for them to win. Cassel's got to be having nightmares about being crushed to death by Suh.

Only way KC has a shot is if Charles can get to the outside and hit a couple big runs and the defense can get some pressure on Stafford so he can't just sit back and pick on the Chiefs' weak safeties.

Then again, I don't think any game can be considered a sure win for the Lions. They are the Lions. Sometimes it's tough to shed yourself of almost two decades of losing ways.
