So they give the kid the ball and he explodes.

Re: Week 3: Baltimore Ravens vs. St. Louis Rams

We did a lot of good things today, but I need to see it continued with consistency. Ravens have all the tools to go places, but its when we have our backs against the wall we don't learn to adapt. Flacco is the real deal and I chuckle that my fanbase still doesn't respect him. (Which is why I hate Raven fans)

Hopefully we'll take this momentum into the next game. I'm one of the guys who don't believe in the Jets. I believe they are an ok team with a beast mode defense and scheme. I believe they win in spite of Mark Sanchez... but not this coming week!

Good win against the Rams. Now let's take this and roll with it.

Good to see Smith make plays. He was just lost at times in the pre-season, which is understandable. I will still say that it is just one game. I think Smith will have some more good games, but I'm not looking for him to do what he did yesterday every game.

No kidding. I would've liked to see Doss do a bit more too... and for the love of god, run the damn ball and have a more balanced attack early in the game. I'm all for taking what the D gives you when you have the guns to exploit something, but too much of anything is overkill. With the lead they have, I would've liked to see the line get a chance to say "we're about to run it down your throats... try and stop us". It could've been good experience going forward.
