That goes without saying, Witten is solid all the time.

And yes i realize Austin hasnt played the last couple weeks, but what im sayin is who else is romo gonna lean on. Laurent Robinson? He's already had the best game he's gonna have all season, Felix Jones? Nope...The D is whats gonna have to carry them, if they get a good game from the D then they will have a chance to beat the pats, if they dont then its gonna be a long game

Difference in this game will be quarterback play. If Romo plays a decent game, then I wouldn't be surprised if the Cowboys won. Thats a big if though.

He has played 'decent' all year.

He has made big mistakes, but he has played decent, even better than decent, for the most part. Just have to be consistent.

By the true definition of decent, Romo could play how he did against the Lions and the Cowboys would win.

Romo's played about three full acceptable games - Washington, San Francisco, three quarters of the Jets game, and the first half of the Lions game. His issue isn't his physical skill or physical toughness, it's his consistency and the mental aspects of the game that separate the good quarterbacks from great quarterbacks.

People are talking as if Tony Romo has never tasted success before. He has. He obviously can do it. But he's also obviously a mental headcase at times.

The season is only 4 weeks old for the Cowboys and Austin has missed 2 weeks. Just seems strange to say he's the most consistent when he's missed half the season.

As a hypothetical I still disagree. Romo can lean on Witten, Austin, Bryant (also should be healthy now) and Felix Jones (and btw, Robinson has played pretty well and now has had time to actually learn the offense... he's no slouch, he's had injury issues which have forced him to bounce around the league). They have a great offense when everyone's healthy. The big problem is the oline, not the skill players. And the oline issue is inexperience, so 4 weeks and a bye should have them playing better too. The way the Pats D has been playing, the O definitely has the ability to win this game.

It's also crazy that people are forgetting about Romo's ribs. He was extremely tough in the mediocre game he played against the Skins bc it was the first game after the injury. It's not like he was all of a sudden 100% just a week after that. His goof ups in the past can't be forgotten but right now, I give him more credit for what he's done in his condition than his gaffs.

people arent forgetting about romos ribs they are just tired of excuses whenever romo messes up theres always some reason why its not romos fault.

1) I don't consider having cracked ribs is an "excuse" for anything. Sucks that he seems to get hurt every year but in the moment (right now) you'd expect his level of play to be lower when he's a week or two removed from getting his rib cracked and lung punctured.

2) There isn't a discussion on whether anything was "romo's fault". This is about what we expect to happen in the future. He's now almost a month removed from getting the rib cracked? And coming out of a bye so a good 2 weeks of rest. There's reason to assume he'll play better this week than he has since week 1. If he doesn't, and there are excuses for it, feel free to call out the people making them.
