Re: The AFC West

Assuming that Palmer keeps getting more comfortable in Oakland and San Diego continues doing whatever it is that they are doing wrong, I really think that Oakland walks away with the division this year. I can't really say what I think their record will be, though. Not great.

Very poor year for the AFC West.

Re: The AFC West

If Oakland plays consistently the rest of the season, I don't see SD catching up. I also don't think Oakland should be overlooked if they do make the play offs, I can see them easily knocking off any team in the AFC with how well they're running the ball right now.

Oakland. If Carson can be at least average and they get McFadden back (even though Bush is more than serviceable) I don't see them losing their hold on the division.

Re: The AFC West

I'm done betting against the power of Tebow. So, Denver.

Still going with the Chargers even though that means one more year of AJ.

Re: The AFC West

First team to record 9 wins takes this division. I have no clue who it will be but somebody will get there.

Re: The AFC West

I'm still hoping the Chargers find a way to do it, but I'm losing hope each week. I can look on the brightside however, that no playoffs would almost 99% sure mean a new coach in town. I'm so tired of Norv, I still can't believe he's here in the first place. There are plenty of good coaches on the market, I'd actually like to see Jeff Fisher brought in personally.

I think the Raiders are the clear favorite to win the division. Palmer is in football shape now and he burnt the Chargers. Michael Bush and Run DMC are one of the most dangerous running combos in the league, and thanks to the late great Al Davis that team is loaded with speed. See Palmer to Denarious Moore to understand why that is significant. They have playmakers on defense as well, it just seems like their year.

BUT, lost in all of the madness is the Denver turnaround. I don't see Kansas City doing much with all of the injuries they've had, but John Fox is doing a hell of a job getting Denver back in the mix and I think more people should watch out for those guys surprising everybody. They have an underrated defense I believe with Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil being a nightmare for opposing QB's especially, and a solid running game although with Moreno on IR and McGahee day-to-day they might see some struggles there. The question mark is obviously Tebow and his receivers, they got rid of Brandon Lloyd for whatever reason but Tebow seems to have a good connection with Eric Decker.

I think it's Oakland's division, but who knows. Everyone is within one game of each other so we'll see what happens I guess, I'm still hoping for San Diego to turn things around and take it but I'd be surprised if Oakland didn't win it at 9-7 or 8-8.
