Denver beat an Oakland team that would have to look up the phrase "defensive adjustments" in the dictionary, and Kansas City shut out an Oakland team in Oakland that had no QB. Jets lost @ a healthy Oakland, across the country.

No division games should ever be taken for granted, but it's pretty clear cut why teams have been losing, whether it's Rivers, a gimmick offense, the absence of a defense and offensive consistency, etc.

There's always a reason why a team wins or loses, it's just convenient to use it to make a case. Teams still have to win the game regardless

The Broncos weren't expected to compete against the majority of their schedule but now that they are, there has to be reasons in order to make a case of why

Fantasy question, is Mr. McGahee starting tonight?

Arrowhead hasn't been scary for a while now? The Chiefs made the playoffs last year. WTF? And they don't have to be a playoff team for that to be arguably the hardest place to go into and win in the entire league.

Man....go Broncos. Please. Hopefully the D does a number on Sanchez and the "Jets O"

The lengths people go to try to discredit Tebow...

Oakland is freaking leading the division dude, which means they would be a playoff team. You can't exactly count that win at least, as an "easy" win, which are basically non existent in the NFL.

The same goes for the lengths some of you will go to defend him. Oakland was coming off of a bye trying to get a new QB up to speed, after being shut out at home by arguably the worst team in the division on their own turf (the Chiefs). A bye that they spent preparing for a Tebow that had thrown for 60 yards over 7 or so quarters of football the 2 weeks prior before lighting up shell/prevent defenses.

Re: The New York Jets @ The Fighting Tim Tebows (Denver) Thursday Night

Why can't people discuss Tim Tebow without getting into this polarizing argument? Discuss Tebow for what he is: an option Quarterback. That's what he IS, that's what he WANTS. The proof is in John Fox's own words, who stated Tebow wants these option plays.

The reality and the naked truth is, these wins and losses have NOTHING to do with what Tebow can be or won't be. It's about whether the option offense can work in the NFL. THAT'S the heart of the matter. If it works, Tim Tebow is an NFL quarterback. If it doesn't work, Tebow is not (currently). That's what this is all about. If the offense works in college (and it does), then any QB who runs it well and produces well is a "good college quarterback." That's logical, right? So if the offense works in the NFL, then the same must hold true for a quarterback who runs the offense in the NFL.

I think, now, that guys like Jonsco28 (and I will PM him that I said this ) are right about Tim Tebow. This isn't about turning Tebow into a prototypical QB, it's about the offense and whether Tebow fits in the NFL. You won't change the man, he is what he is.

Now, if you want to discuss whether the read-option is a viable and sustainable strategy in the NFL, that's a topic WIDE open to debate (and we'll get to see the results!).
