Re: Grade your team's performance thus far

I'll bump this since a majority of the league's seasons are over.

Raiders: C-

Offense: B- - The young receivers finally seemed to show progress, Heyward Bey in particular. Moore and Ford also showed they can be solid playmakers if they stay healthy. Speaking of health, another year of injury for McFadden, which is getting more and more frustrating. Palmer was hit and miss, but hopefully will perform better with a full offseason with his receivers. Bush stepped in well in DMC's abscence.

Defense: F - Blew game after game, stupid penalties, open receivers on 3rd and long, letting star players beat you. Just despicable. Breshnahan should be canned.

Patriots: C+/B-

Offense: A : All that needs to be said here is Brady to Gronkowski. But more than just that, this team throws the ball all over the yard and has the ability to run when needed with a deep stable of solid HBs. Even if they struggle early they have the explosiveness to overcome large defecits.

Defense: F : Ranked last in the league in yards allowed. Front seven plays fairly solid and is decent against the run, but this is possibly the worst overall defensive secondary in recent memory. Can't stop even the league's most pedestrian quarterbacks and passing offenses (see games vs. Redskins and Colts). The only redeeming quality of this unit is their ability to create turnovers in crucial situations.

Browns: D-

Offense: F- Wow do we suck, and I mean suck bad. Awful. Terrible. Hillis regressed, Colt doesn't look like a franchise QB, and our WR'ers are the worst in the NFL. I expect every single draft choice to be used on offense this year, including a first round QB.

Defense: B Had some really good performances this year. Sheard, Rubin, Taylor, Jackson, Gocong, Adams, Ward, Skrine, and Haden are all extremely solid and Sheard, Rubin, Taylor and Haden are all playmakers with Ward and Gocong on the cusp. Still, there are some holes that need filled, but could easily be addressed in free agency.

This team isn't far from being an 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 team. If it weren't for a few flukes and rookie coaching mistakes, we have a chance to be a pretty decent team. The key is to keep the #4 pick and get someone with SERIOUS talent on this team.

Re: Grade your team's performance thus far

Offense - A+: Stafford has emerged as one of the top quarterbacks in the league throwing for over 5,000 yards and 40 touchdowns in his first full season, have a top three receiver in Calvin Johnson who had a ridiculous year with 1,600 yards and second in the NFL 16 touchdowns(Really Gronk? 17 TD's?) not to mention Pettigrew, Young, Burleson and others becoming solid weapons.

Defense - C-: Not great, one of the worst defensive performances I have ever seen today against the Packers. Not to mention all the penalties.

Overall - A: I am happy enough with them finally making the playoffs for the first time in about 15 years. Anything from here on out is just a bonus for me but I will be expecting more over the next few seasons.

C+/B- for the #1 seed in the AFC? Overall, I think they deserve a higher grade. The one thing this team has, and showed, throughout this year is mental toughness. In some games they had, past Patriots teams would have given up and lost. This 2011 team kept on surprising me this year. I hope they continue to in the playoffs. Overall I would grade them a B+.

Let's hope the defense can be opportunistic and they don't fall behind 17-0 or 21-0 on January 14th.

Packers A-

Offense - A+ Not much needs to be said here

Defense C+ - I give them this grade because while they haven't been playing well they tend to get those clutch turnovers when they need them to dampen the effects of their badness. We seem to be getting less pressure on the qb than last year and Raji hasn't been as much of a force.

Vikings get an: H

for (HELP!)

McNabb was a failure, Ponder got thrown to wolves and even though he showed some promise, he made a lot of mistakes and got banged around.

Our star player and face of the franchise completely shredded his knee, get healthy please AP!

Had one of the worst Pass Defenses in history? And the lone bright spot was Jared Allen who played his heart out every game and fell short of the sack record by .5 sack.
