Actually the guy he called a chargers homer was a cowboys fan.

It's a stat; just not a terribly predictive one. Turnovers tend to regress to the mean over time.

I think the Bears win solidly since they're a good team playing a not so good team at home, but turnover margin simply doesn't predict future outcomes well at all.

Never thought I would say this again but I'm routing for Cutler.

But have a feeling SD steals one here.

A post after you said my opinion was nothing but conjecture. :g oogle:

If you want to look back, I wasn't the one who began with the attitude. It was when I was called a homer and that what I said was dumb was when I took offense. I like how that goes ignored but I get flamed and called cocky for defending myself.

I'm not 100% innocent because I entertained the ignorance, but I'm not 100% guilty either.
Actually, what started it off for everyone was your first post in the thread, "easy W." Seems like that was ignored, too.

As Kehlis stated, the best thing to do was to say, Bears will win this one because of, yada, yada, yada, instead of lighting a fire under the other teams fans.

No, i didn't ignore that.

Im saying just like there were better ways for me to word my prediction, there were more constructive ways to go about questioning my opinion. Im accused of belittling someone but I was the first one to be belittled. It takes two to tango as they say. Didn't know that the term easy win was such a volitile statement. Seems kind of ridiculous to get mad about something like that, especially when like two pages later you agree to a statement that says "get the casket ready, Rivers might not survive"

If I would have said that, after seeing the reaction to the term easy win, I would have been flamed into next season. Oh well, it is what it is.

Who wins in a fight. Tebow or Cutler?

Relax Packer worshipers, I didn't put a 2 in front of sub par now everyone has their panties in a bunch. Chill out
Well, you said they lost 3 in a row to sub par teams and seeing how we were one of the teams included in their losing streak, what else are folks supposed to assume? LOL

Personally, I assumed that it was an honest mistake and that you didn't mean to include GB in that because if being 9-0 is still consider a sub par team to you, then you have some high *** standards of what a good team is

Re: Week 11: San Diego Chargers (4-5) @ Chicago Bears (6-3)

This thread took a terrible turn.

Back to the game.

If the Bears can get some consistent pressure on Rivers I think the Bears win.

Another interesting matchup will be Scifres vs Hester. I know Scifres has a booming leg with lots of hang time which doesn't bode well for Hester.

I always find it funny that this is built up as Rivers vs Cutler when neither of them have any effect on the game against each other.

With that said I'm sure it'll be a good game.
