This is shocking to say the least. I don't know what this says about Orton. I'd have thought Quinn would be the most likely to get waived.

I bet he goes back to Chi-Town.

The Texans should strongly consider putting in a claim for Orton.

This is the best thing to happen to Kyle. Now he's away from the Tebow hoopla (even though I kinda root for Tim). It had to suck to be in his position. He's a solid QB and I think he'll find work somewhere. Maybe he should crash the Fitzmagic party in Buffalo in case he's getting too comfortable up there.

I would see them trying claim him before I see Chicago Bears trying to.

I do not believe Orton has ever played in Martz complex offense so I think that would be too much for him to learn. I maybe wrong but I believe Martz arrived after Orton left for Denver.

I agree with the guy from earlier. Houston should grab Orton. It makes perfect sense. Houston signing Orton could happen because Orton is a much smarter choice than Matt Leinart. Orton has already proven himself to be a more than capable leader. Leinart is a career backup. I think the Texans will pull the trigger on Orton.

The Bears are 30th on the waiver order right now. They will not put a claim in for him. His contract is too big for 6 weeks IMO. Orton would never learn the Martz offense fast enough. If the Texans want to pay that, they can go for it. The only way he will return to the Bears this year is if he clears waivers and the Bears negotiate a smaller deal with him.
