Re: 2011 MVP VOTE !!!

Saints offensive line is probably better based on talent, 2 all pro Guards and a pretty decent LT in Jermon Bushrod.

In actual performance? Idk I don't watch the Packers all the time, I know the Saints allow a lot of pressure off the edge. Brees probably has some of the best pocket awareness i've seen from a QB and the latest example was avoiding a few sacks from Jared Allen

I think it will then depend on numbers, I'm not saying stats are the be all end all but the A.P. is doing the voting and if/when Brees breaks the passing record it will have a big impact on voting. To be honest outside of the Packers only having one loss and Brees breaking the single season passing record you could justify either one.

Honestly, all these QB stats are skewed so terribly. That's how the NFL wanted it. Marino's record will get broken, and he did it in a time where WR got mauled, now if you accidentally graze, it's a flag.
I agree which is why I really want to vote for DeMarcus Ware with Arian Foster and Patrick Willis coming in close for a second and third.

Brees was/is better offensively. Rodgers has great numbers but has made it look effortless for many weeks and will be MVP both for his numbers (2nd only to Brees most likely after 2 more weeks) and how he's run the team. Pretty straightforward IMO.

Unless MJD or McCoy run for 700-800 yards the final 2 weeks and come close to 2k, I don't think they are in competition against whomever ends up with the passing yardage record for offensive POY.

If you're gonna use the backup argument, just give it to Peyton because the proof is in the 1-13 pudding with them.

Re: 2011 MVP VOTE !!!

Can't argue against the season Aaron Rodgers is having. 4360 passing yards with 40 TD and only 6 INT's. If he doesn't play at such a high level with that defense behind him there is no way Green Bay only have 1 loss.

With that said I still voted for Tom Brady.

To me it's Rodgers no question.
