Week 16: Football Jesus (8-6) at Buffalo Bills (5-9)

1 pm start on the day before Tebow's birthday. This is terrible. Bills have been annihilated by injuries and the team seems to have given up. Tebows are on a roll and are the talk of the country.

I have to say this will be my first game watching a full game of Tebow. I saw Mic'd Up or whatever with him from two games ago and he creeped me out a little bit with the praying and the way he touched other players and always smiled. He seems a little simple minded as well.

I do know if he was on the Bills and was this successful I'd be pretty insufferable.

This is the Bills team I expected all year, but to be honest, I see them winning this game. Just something about things getting more interesting out west.

This is a game where the Broncos can assert themselves. They just came off a loss to the Patriots and should've received a motivational wake up call. This is a game where the Broncos SHOULD control this game from start to finish. If they're going to make a serious play off push, that's what they need to do. Clean up the mistakes and start playing play off football right now.

I've seen a lot of this kind of thing - you expected the Bills to rack up 15 players on the IR? Or did you just not know about that? Or did you attribute losses to lack of depth? I'm truly interested.

It is a symptom really of the cause for the Bills being bad for a decade - terrible drafting leading to a lack of depth, not signing free agents leading to a lack of depth, making boneheaded trades and releases leading to a lack of depth.

edit: edited out a little snark. I think there is a lot of mis-information out there, unfortunately, like the "Ryan Fitzpatrick will ruin the Bills franchise with his huge contract!" fiasco, lol.

I was surprised by the Bills early run. I didn't expect them to bottom out like they have, but injuries will decimate a team. I really thought the Bills would be an 8-8 or 9-7 team this year.

At the beginning of the season those would be realistic estimates. After the first few weeks... Wild Card. After losing our top offensive players and pro bowl defensive lineman... ugh. It would be nice to be a spoiler this week though.

Matchup to watch this week: Football Jesus vs Bills defensive line and linebackers. Our linebacking corps hasn't shown much vs the run.

The Bills aren't very talented even with those players healthy. They did alright for five games and then came back down to Earth.

Buffalo, if ever there was a good time to end that skid of yours.. it's this week.

Please, think of the Chargers! Why does no one ever think of the Chargers?
