Shenanigans. Stick to the baseball forums where people buy in to your hokum.

But injuries are a part of football, the truly elite teams are able to rise above them and still win.

In the end, the D didn't play well enough and cost too many games. Buffalo, Detroit, and today were all games that could have been won, though today is more excusable since Rivers is that damn good. But the D was embarassingly bad and is the main reason why this team doesn't deserve to play in the postseason.

The only positive for this year is that DHB finally seems like a solid pro, even if he wasn't worthy of his draft pick. Moore could be a star if he continues to progress, and Palmer looked better as the season went on, though still made some bonehead throws. Hopefully Breshnahan is fired and this defense plays better than a high school level next year. And the penalties of course.
The coordinator isn't the problem with that defense. Lack of players is the problem with that defense.

Anytime you have your pass rushing LBs covering the other team's best receivers game after game, it's a schematic issue. Saw it against Detroit w/ CJ on the big play late, and happened again today w/ Wimbley having to cover Gates. Maybe we could get better cover LBs, but as a D coordinator you have to know your personnel and know not to put them in situations to be burned. Not saying the personnel isn't an issue too, but the schemes have been terrible at times.

I'd have to see the All 22 to really know if it's scheme or not. Or if someone on the defense made a check call that got them in the wrong defense. Too hard to tell from TV..

Personnel wise outside the dline, they don't have much talent.

Get off your high horse. If you can't understand a concept as simple as margin of victory and how it is indicative of the AFC West's terribleness, that's on you.

Getting massively outscored by your opponents means you suck.

Last year Seattle entered the playoffs with a 7-9 record and with a point differential of -97 and ended up beating the Saints so anything can happen.
