Re: Offensive Rookie of the Year 2011/2012 Season

If stats didn't matter then Pouncey (the only other guy besides Bradford or Williams to get any votes last year) should have gotten more than 2 out of 50 votes. He technically had a better year than any other rookie on the offensive side of the ball last year.

Looking at Bradford's stats again makes me realize just how mediocre he was last year regardless of how many receivers he went through. Six yards per attempt? Utterly laughable.

I also don't see how people can claim that Green had a bigger impact on his team than Newton did just because the Bengals backed into the playoffs. Cincinnati's defense (7th in the league) was actually solid this season, while Carolina's defense (28th overall) was absolutely atrocious.

I just believe AJ Green has had a slightly bigger impact on his team than Cam.(I'm not looking at stats) It will probably be Cam in a run away though. Green is just my pick.

Yeah I agree just watching some of the catches Green made this season and relying on another rookie QB I think Green is the man IMO. Cam will get it but I would vote Green.

Cam Newton will win. He had a great season become the first palyer ever in NFL history to have 4000 + yds passing and 500 + yds rushing. He is the best this year on offense.
However, Andy Dalton contributed the most to his team.
But Newton wins

He contributed the most because he helped get them more wins. They had Carson Palmer, but they got rid of him. Lets admit something here, whatever rookie QB that would have went to the Panthers would of had a good year. They have all of the weapons there. Steve Smith and Calvin Johnson all beasts.
However, Andy Dalton did most of the work this season on his own with help from his one weapon (A.J. Green).

Uh what?

And saying Dalton did most of the work on the Bengals is discrediting Cedric Benson and their running game as well as Bengals fantastic defense.

I think Cam wins it hands down though bc of the records he broke alone.
My thoughts exactly.

Harold you may want to read some of the insight from the many knowledgeable fans here. I think you're getting a lot of info from agenda driven media sources or just shooting from the hip (judging from the few posts of yours I've read today).
