well its seems to me that if you thought the broncos were 75 to 1 to win the SB and Vegas has them at 50 to 1 then you wouldnt want to put money on them.

It doesn't matter what you think, it only matters what odds you can get and if you think those are favorable.

i have no clue where youre coming from. the first poster said the broncos odds wernt favorable, the 2nd poster said vegas wants bronco fans to think the odds are unfavorable and i asked if vegas really wanted that.

Not what I said at all. They want Broncos fans to see those odds and throw a hundred down just to do it. At this point, its easy money.

I think you misunderstood my post.

generally speaking when youre talking about betting odds "higher odds" means "lower probability" so when i saw TDenver talking about higher odds i assumed he meant the broncos should be like 75 to 1 or 100 to 1

I meant more like 35 to 1 or so. They did win their division...

What does that have to do with their odds of winning a Super Bowl next year?

Re: Future Odds 2012-13 season

They have to show they can consistently win some games in a more traditional fashion before their odds can improve, you aren't going to have several 4th quarter comebacks a year like what was required to go 8-8 this season.

If anything winning the division combined with the above will hurt their chances of making it to the Super Bowl next year as they've now got a first place schedule. The Chiefs finished first last season so they had to play the Colts and Steelers, Denver had a 4th place schedule and played the Bengals and Titans.

Next season by comparison the Chiefs @ 4th will play the Colts and Bills, while Denver gets the Texans and Patriots.

Next season Denver plays almost half the season against teams who were in the playoffs this year - Steelers, Saints, Texans @ Ravens, @ Bengals, @ Falcons, @ Patriots.
