Colt Brennan signs with CFL

I know no one cares, because there's almost zero chance of him ever returning to an NFL team. Just happy he might get a shot to play somewhere again after nearly dying in that car accident in '10.

I'm surprised his able to play at all. I give a lot of the credit to the guy, I remembering reading that story. Just brutal.

Happy for the guy still finding someone who's interested. Most players will struggle to play at the level they were before an injury, or find a team who's interested. Playing after a torn ACL seems hard enough, playing after almost dying would seem.. impossible.

He signed with a UFL team last year, but it was the Hartford team that was dissolved a few months later and none of the other teams picked him up.

FWIW I like the skins adding Colt to develop him when Zorn was the coach. But the way the fan base acted after he had a few nice pre-season games drove me nuts. He is actually a pretty cool guy. Met him at a few clubs when I lived in hawaii. Glad he is getting a chance to continue to do what e wants to do.

Then it's high time for SOMEONE to develop a CFL console football game and put this guy on the cover...

Run and Shoot system QBs are MADE for a league with only 3 downs and TWO 50 yard lines!!!

He was THE MAN back at UH.

Glad he's getting another shot at playing pro football, albeit the CFL, but pro football nonetheless.

I'll never understand the fascination with this guy. He's simply not a very good QB.

I liked the guy, until I was there in person for that beatdown he received in the Sugar Bowl from UGA then I realized he was overrated.
