The indefinite suspension is just a 1 year suspension in the NFL. I think there are some rules about going beyond 1 year. The indefinite part just means you have to apply for reinstatement into the league again. If you don't apply, then your suspension continues indefinitely. His contract would stay on the books but not be paid until he was granted reinstatement.

The Jags have 1 or 2 players that are still technically suspended (unless the league has removed/retired them) but they don't owe them anything and contract was frozen.

If you take a look at most contracts(at least for QBs), the base salary in year 1 is always 1-3M. I don’t think it was solely based on a suspension, but I’m no cap expert.

This is true. The base salary in year 1 is usually quite low, otherwise its a front-loaded deal.

Kyler Murray - 2M, Aaron Rodgers' base salary is under 2.5 million for the next three seaons. Dak 2022 - 1.6 million, etc.

Anyone here with access to ESPN+/Insider knows if they have available the whole "SportsCentury" catalogue?

Doesn't appear to be available online anywhere.

I guess Frank Gore's pro boxing career might be over already. A couple days ago he apparently dragged a naked woman by the hair across a hotel lobby.
