The Panthers have the easiest schedule of the bottom 3 teams, they play several 4,5 win teams. I wouldn't be shocked if they end up winning 2 of those.

I would be shocked if they end up winning two of those games. These 4/5 win teams are pretty competitive still. The Panthers have showed no signs of real improvement from the beginning of the season. I think they would be lucky to win one of those games. The best chance I see them having is against the Bucs or Falcons.

Just commenting on this part. This has been debunked numerous times by the local Panthers writers. They were all in on Young, Tepper didn't make that decision.

Just happens that the job Wilks did gave Fitterer and Tepper false confidence that they put together a competent roster and they dropped Bryce into a horrific situation. CJ would look just as bad as Bryce does in that offense.

Kenny Pickett was dropped into a fairly good (and now even better) situation but has still struggled because of the worst, most incompetent, and unqualified OC in the league. Situations matter and coaching matters. You are spot on.

I'm not ready to anoint Pickett or anything, but I'm finally ready to evaluate him, now that that arrogant doofus Matt Canuhduh is gone.

Re: NFL Off Topic

Don’t really think there wouldn’t have been a situation where they didn’t have one of the worst rosters/teams in the league in Year 1.

The bigger crime is making Ryan Poles look like a competent GM.

I wonder what the roster would have been had they kept Wilks. I don't think they would have traded up and maybe stuck with Darnold, kept their identity from the end of last year, and would be competitive this year.

Just hard to believe how dysfunctional they are
