Re: NFL Off Topic 2012

Most entertaining offseason in recent memory...possibly ever?

And we haven't even made it to the draft yet...

This makes the CBA drama feel pretty tame, and that was a blast

The NFL just yawned at the college basketball tournament and went balls out this week.

To me the best offseason is usually MLB's but the NFL's offseason this year has been balls to the wall. If this is the way things are going to be with this new CBA we're in for years of greatness!

I'm enjoying every minute of it as a member of the "Sports TMZ" generation. But realistically, if every year involved a HOF QB being pushed off his only team and forced to find another; an overrated QB stealing headlines bc he's losing his job; a beloved franchise losing their coach for the year after being handed the NFL version of the death penalty for paying to try and injure players then I'm not sure I would call that "greatness".

I will, however, continue to enjoy it.

Seeing Bill Polian on NFL Live saying that Luck will be 1st overall pretty much assures it for me. He pretty much would have known something about it before he got the boot.

Well I'm not hoping for the same kind of circumstances. I was more talking about the insane level of big moves and interesting stories but DIFFERENT to the ones we're seeing right now.

Yep, I hear you... and like I said, I'm tuned in either way. Kind of disappointed in myself for that fact (even started watching sportscenter again, lol).
