2012 NFL Schedule Release Thread

The League will release the schedule at 7:00pm tomorrow(Tuesday) and the only game set in stone are the Cowboys/Giants game on Wednesday, Sept. 5th and that the Patriots/Rams will be playing in London in October.

Fox's Chris Myers is reporting that the Fox's America's Game of the Week could be San Francisco @ Green Bay in Week 1 as well.

Looking for Texans and Lions on Thanksgiving Day. Wouldn't be thrilled about it. Hate Thursday games. Short week nonsense.

Re: 2012 NFL Schedule Release Thread

I've been spoiled to get a decent amount of Colts games in prime time. I'm sure that's going to change this year.

Not with Luck coming to town. I see 2-3 nationally televised games.

You're probably right. I didn't even think about the buzz with Luck and the NFL wanting to showcase him.

Re: 2012 NFL Schedule Release Thread

It's amazing, although not surprising, that this is now a "prime time event".

Re: 2012 NFL Schedule Release Thread

Reports coming out that Patriots are expected to have the "easiest" schedule going into '12...

..however a Jets reporter was quick to point out on Twitter that the team that had the "easiest" schedule going into the season has missed the playoffs for five straight seasons.
