Like clockwork? Who is the last Miami runningback to do anything again? Frank Gore from 2005?

That said, I like miller, might end up in cincinatti one way or another to help fill a significant need for the Bengals.

Drafted? No one but Javarris James, Greg Cooper and Damien Berry are all in the NFL. Undated yes but still on NFL teams. If we go pre Gore, well that would be a waste of my time to list as we all know who they are.

They do an I agree but he's the best Hb to enter the draft since Peterson. That turned out great for the Vikes so who knows, but if you can be as good as Peterson then you deserve a top 5 selection.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Thread.

The minute Trent Richardson steps onto an NFL field, he's a top 10 running back in the NFL, perhaps better.

His short height, incredible vision, strength, and good speed with great hands and amazing blocking ability make him an absolute stud. There is no part of his game that needs work, he can do everything at an NFL level already.

His first game at Alabama, he was probably able to play in the NFL.

Exactly.

Yes RB are a dime a dozen, but, not this RB. Almost any other year, he's 1st pick, and deservedly so. Some team will get a STUD.

For the Browns sake, or whoever drafts him, I hope you are right.

Tannerhill is going to be bad. Gabbert bad if he has to play better. Just like Gabbert he hasn't really shown much yet he's gonna go in the first round.

LaMichael James has character concerns an will be nothing more then Darren Sproils at best. The 2nd best Hb in this draft is Miller. Why? Because I'm a Homer an he's from Miami which produces NFL HB like clockwork. He's blazing fast with great vision an doesn't have the fumbling problems that Wilson has. He needs to add some weight but not too much.
Even if LaMichael is "just" Darren Sproles is that a bad thing? If you have watched a game Sproles was playing he is no doubt a difference maker. Against the 49ers in the playoffs he played a huge part in that great finish.

I really think the Bucs have so many needs that if the Vikings do pick Claiborne, it wouldn't be necessary for them to trade down.

The Bucs gave up the league's most rushing yards per game last season so they could use a guy like Luke Kuechly or Fletcher Cox (he might improve their pass rushing game as well).

There's a possibility that Jacksonville would want to take Stephon Gilmore as their 7th pick so Tampa should take him early before it's too late.

Also the Bucs have chosen so far not to re-sign Sean Jones, so Mark Barron could be considered a selection.
Had a brain fart there, forgot about Parker. I don't see them taking Fletcher Cox, there is already a log jam at DT McCoy, Miller, & Price all fairly young. The Kuechly pick is a strong possibility since Tampa didn't resign Geno Hayes they could use another OLB. Either way Tampa's first pick should be in the back 7 on defense.

A Darren Sproles is not worth a first round pick. It's a weapon sure but unless your team doesn't have any glaring needs, you don't take a Sproles clone in the first. If he can be better then that then sure. You can find a weapon anywhere in the draft. When your picking in the first your looking for a starter or future starter. Not just a weapon IMO.
