Ben does take a beating. Batch is one or two years away from retiring, Leftwich iscoming off a major injury, and Dixon is pretty much gone. This seems like the perfect draft to take a late round QB.
Hightower is just a perfect fit as a 3-4 thump linebacker who can take over Farrior's role.

I'm hoping the Broncos trade down and get 2 second rounders. I'd like Doug Martin and then some DT.

Unless Fletcher Cox or someone else slips down a lot, then take him.

Been hearing that Chandler Jones' draft stock has risen like crazy. Currently projected to go #14 to the Dallas Cowboys.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Thread.

It's just been hard getting excited the past few years, seeing as how we know who the first couple are going to be. I think the last time I didn't know was 2006, there were literally 3 or 4 guys that could have gone #1.

Please do NOT do that.

Thursday and Friday is significantly better than wasting all day Saturday on it

Agreed. Moving the draft to prime time Thursday is one of the things I feel the NFL has gotten right.
