Lived out there for awhile, which didn't hurt. But my grandfather is friends with Joe Montana's dad. Got me Joe's (the QB, not the dad) autograph for Christmas about a month before the Niners won their first Super Bowl. That's all it took to hook me as a kid.

I root for the Chargers. My whole family is Cowboys fans for some reason and I never really got it. I was born in California and LaDainian Tomlinson was my favorite player to watch so I just kind of fell in line and root for them every game. I didn't know at the time, but I also think it's pretty cool that we haven't won a Super Bowl yet.

My dad is from Boston and I started watching football with him during the Bledsoe era. So I just kind of grew into a Pats fan. Started watching at a pretty decent time, as well .

Arizona Cardinals fan since 2007. Got friends that live in Phoenix and my very first piece of NFL apparel was a Fitzgerald jersey. I also really like how their players show great respect and are humble professional athletes. Go Cards!

It wasn't always that way for me though. Living nowhere close to an NFL team and having no connection to one made it hard for me to attach myself to one particular team so I was more into players than actual teams. I flip-flopped from the Colts to the Falcons to finally the Chargers, and that was the one that just happened to stick.
