Eh, it goes in cycles, There have been times over the decades where multi-back systems were popular and times when using a feature back was the way to go. It's never been a monolithic state of mind in the league as teams would use one back exclusively and there'd be a handful or more that would use 2 or more backs at once. It's true that the multi-back system is heavily favored these days to the extent that I haven't seen before but i'm sure it'll swing back the other way at some point.

So let's not make LDT out to be the last of a breed of RB forever and ever amen but yes, he was one of the very last who took virtually every snap for his team.

Oh yeah, and sitting on a bench with his helmet on.

That was at least six years ago, apparently everyone has moved on except you.

No motive, just never liked the guy after those displays. He (and Merriman) just come off as little b*itches to me.

Everyone had their memories, those are mine.

So sad to see him go, but happy to see him leave as a charger.

I have 3 LT jerseys, and can't wait to rep them as "old school"

Yeah LT was a beast...unquestionably the best HB in the NFL in his prime. There were some good backs in the league too...Jamal Lewis, Ahmad Green, Fred Taylor, Shaun Alexander, Priest Holmes, etc....but LT was a notch above
