Hell, I'm a Broncos fan and even if he wins a Super Bowl in Denver he will always be known as a Colt to me.
Argh, makes me remember arguing with a Chief fan who was telling me Marcus Allen is classified as a Chief first. I said no, he's a Raider.

Can the Patriots claim Curtis Martin too? He spent his first few years doing awesome with them.

Or how about the Rams and Jerome Bettis.

Sorry, but Lott is a Niner and Woodson a Steeler. Also Lott did not put up career numbers in Oakland, he had 10 Ints one season on the Niners.

I don't think any player can be seen as a true Raider, or a true Lion, or a true Saint, unless they have played their whole career or at least the majority of it for the same team.

If I'm honest, the question doesn't make a whole lot of sense when these guys played like 2-3 years with the team. The way you ask the question makes it more seem like these guys played the Raider way. I'd use the term 'All time great'.

Like.. Tom Brady is one of the all time great Patriots.

That still wouldn't work. Is Joe Montana an all time great Chief? The OP's just reaching a bit, but seems he's too young to have watched these guys when they were in their prime and really putting in work for the teams they do represent. Lott's a no brainer. Woodson is more a Raven than a Raider, and even the Ravens don't trump the Steelers.

He only played 2 years with the Chiefs though, my point was I only see guys who have played 80-90% of their career with same team, or their whole career. Like Tom Brady.

Brady is/will be seen as one of the all time great players of the Patriots. Montana the same, with the Niners.
