Brady is/will be seen as one of the all time great players of the Patriots. Montana the same, with the Niners.
Right... Lott and Woodson played 2 years with the Raiders.

I don't view them as being 'true Raiders' or 'All time great Raiders' though, because of the reason they played only a couple of years with the team. Other people may see it differently.

I just don't think it's right to view a player as one the greats if say he played a year or two with one team then retired, after playing with one team for say.. 10-11 years or so.

Lott, Niners. Woodson, Steelers. Brady, Pat's. Montana, Niners.

Peyton might take Denver to the Super Bowl. In that case, I'd view him as say, a fan favourite. But say if he did that then retired. I just wouldn't see him as one of the greats.

That happens more often than people realise. Down to the fact posts don't have voices behind them, so it's hard to tell sometimes whether someone is agreeing or not.

Sort of the case here.. Anyway, back on subject.

I think he burned some bridges with the Titans (or vice versa) but I see him as a Titan. He did great things for the Ravens and for Flacco specifically. I think he still calls into a local radio show on a weekly basis too, if I'm not mistaken so he's really taken to Baltimore. But the Ravens got him on the downside of his career, even if barely.

It's the same way with Steve McNair (RIP), people will def remember him as a Titan, even though things didn't end that well with him and the organization.
