Seth Meyers (‏@sethmeyers21)
I can't believe the Hard Knocks writers killed off Chad Johnson.

Me too...It seemed like to me Johnson had this idea that he could apologize out of it, and rely on his clean arrest record up to that point.

Also, I forgot about the tragedy w/ Philbin's son....

Re: Official 2012 Hard Knocks Thread

If you could somehow have a team compete over the course of a full 17 week season and have the camera's rolling you could turn your team into one of the most popular teams in the league...

I had no interest in the dolphins going into this year and really wasn't excited about this season but ill be damned I will probably follow them every week. Imagine how great this would be over a full season!

We've seen coaches cut guys before but never like that. I was worried with time running out it was going to be a closed door type meeting. It's hard to see a guy's life falling apart and watching it unfold you want to give him a second chance. Thankfully I am not in management the right decision was made and handled well. Was kinda like breaking up with your girlfriend. "It was about last night just things weren't working between the two of us" I like how it was handled but think they coulda said "Look your in your first 2 months here and already had 3 PR nightmares. You're a hell of a player and the guys like having you around but its turning out to be more of a headache than the production that you will bring.

7/11 Chris Hogan and Progression of Ryan Tannehill are the big ones for me this season. Hope he makes it and wanna see Tannehill starting sooner rather than later.

Loved the hair cuts! Love when the rookies have a good heart and sense of humor about things. As in most rookie "hazings" (hate that word) its something light spirited and when they don't play along is when it gets out of hand. Rookies handled it well and everyone had a laugh.

Re: Official 2012 Hard Knocks Thread

Is anyone else surprised by how little they have shown of Reggie Bush? Outside of his "love" affair with Kim K. (and the USC stuff) I don't know much about him, but I thought him and Chad would somehow always garner the attention of the camera crew. I must admit I am pleasantly surprised. He is either boring or going out of his way to avoid the cameras.

I also got a kick out of Matt Moore, not knowing that he was the new #1 after Gerrard's injury. Speaking of his injury, (and Chad's arrest for that matter) if Miami went away for Training Camp both those guys would probably still be starters with the team...

I'm not gonna front..I felt bad for Chad.

I think Miami should've waited until more information came out before cutting him.

He made a mistake. Cutting him doesn't send a positive message to the rest of the team.

He wasn't out partying or got drunk and arrested or got into a fight.

Not excusing him but he got into it with his spouse.

"Got into it" and "headbutting and causing a laceration" are two different things my man. I've gotten into it w/ my wife and I've just walked away or punched a wall/door to take out my anger.

Its his own damn fault if he was cheating. We don't know the details, but if he was cheating then he deserved what was coming @ him and should've just taken it instead of trying to prove who is more dominant and shut her up from resulting to physical action.

Just walk away fellas. . . .doesn't mean you're a coward. It means you are not a *******.

Never once did I say it was okay.

My point is why should he be released for that?

Who cares if he was cheating?
