Panthers

Cam will have a bad year

Secondary is terrible and D-line isn't going to get pressure

Steve Smith is a year older

I'm hoping Redskins for the Rams fan in me (We own their 2013 and 14 First Round pick).

49ers
Steelers
Saints

Cam would worry me. He was incredible last year. But there's a sophomore slump phrase for a reason. Seldom do guys have the success in back-to-back years 1st to 2nd year.

However, Newton definitely seems like the one to break that mould. But it isn't a sure thing either. This league is up and down with even the most established of star players. To expect Newton to eclipse last year's numbers is a tallllll task.

In the NFC, I'm gonna go with the Lions.

As far as the AFC goes, I don't know why but I just have this weird feeling that the Texans are going to come crashing down...no rhyme or reason, just a gut feeling.

I don't expect him to eclipse those numbers at all, but from everything I've heard/read about this training camp, he's doing everything possible to avoid any slump.

I do think his numbers will go down a bit, but I think he'll be more efficient (less interceptions) and I think the run game will be more effective. The defense and kickoff/punt coverages are my concerns. If Beason is back to close to 100% and the DTs can actually stay healthy and not force 2 undrafted rookies to play the majority of the season, I think the defense will improve (mostly because it can't get much worse). That, to me, equates to 2-3 more wins and a good shot at a wild card berth.

Having said all of that, if he does struggle then the season is down the drain pretty quickly. I guess us Panther fans will know early because the first 6 games are pretty tough.
