The Colts offense can be average and make some big plays every once in a while. The Colts defense though, I would be surprised if they stopped 1 QB this year. When you trade for Davis at CB to be your #1 CB, you don't have any CBs. Also how are their speed rush DEs going to adjust to the new defense?

I think Luck will put up some good number and play pretty well. However, I don't see the Colts defense stopping the Bears revamped offense. Marshall,Jeffery, Forte and Cutler could be a dangerous set of combinations this year.

If the Bears are truly a player in the NFC this year, they win this game comfortably. Glad to get Luck early because it's not going to take him long to get up to speed in this league.

Bears fans - how has the Cutler to Marshall combo looked in the preseason? I missed all but one of their games where both played in limited action.

Is Forte back to his old self pre injury? Many touches for Bush on the cards?

Marshall and Cutler looked good.

Forte's injury was MCL sprain, and that has long since healed.

Hard to tell how much bush will be involved, but probably more than marion barber.

We didn't have any CB's. All we had was Powers. Does anyone even know Powers? We were that desperate and that thin at corner.

I have no optimism in Freeney. Literally none. He doesn't even have the right body to be an OLB. Mathis will adjust better though imo. I think he'll be fine. He's a little more thin and moves around a lot better than Freeney. Really Mathis was undersized as a DE anyway. One guy I would look out for though is Jerry Hughes. He played his tail off in preseason and I wouldn't be surprised if this was the year he really came on as the guy everyone thought he was going to be. I think he fits a lot better in this type of system too.

As for the game.. excited for this one. I'm sure we'll lose, probably not that close. Two score game I'd say. But I can't wait to see Luck and this, really, completely brand new team. Hopefully we do some nice things this year to help build for the future and Luck shows signs of the player everyone thinks he's going to be.
