Just filling you guys in, Roger Saffold returned to practice Wednesday. Good news, looks like that injury wasn't anything too serious.

Garcon did not practice today. That is troubling to me. I think the skins offense slowed down after he left in the second half.

Fisher will have the Rams ready to play. I got Bradford out playing RG3 to a 24-20 rams win

If the Skins win this game, it would definitely give me a more optimistic view of the team. If they lose, there the same old Skins.

Before the Saints game I didn't picture this team winning more than 4 games.

After the Saints game my prediction has fallen between 6-8 wins. If Garc'on sits out I hope to see more Hankerson, Robinson, and the receiver they picked up from the Bucs.

If the Skins win I predict the score to be 37-20
If the Rams win I predict the score to be 17-14.

Yep. He's listed as a "game time decision" right now.

The Redskins do have a pretty strong and deep running game. Morris showed what he's about in Week 1, Rot Helu had a strong ending to last year's schedule, a lot of people like Evam Royster and oh yeah, that dude throwing the ball can carry it pretty well.

Redskins defense has some playmakers. Defense + run game + what has to be an improved passing game (though "rookie mistakes" takes a bit away) equals, to me, an at least 7, 8 win team.

Washington is going to surprise some people. They're going to knock off some good teams.

But they're also going to lose to teams that aren't as good as them. I believe that happens this week to St. Louis, who balled with a good Detroit team a Sunday ago. The Rams shouldn't be overlooked themselves. I like them, 27-17.

Re: Week 2: Washington Redskins (1-0) at St. Louis Rams (0-1)

Bradford had his moments last week, but he wasn't all that impressive to me. Lions got a lot of pressure especially late in the game, and the Redskins also have a very good front 7. Lions ran the ball a bit and had some success; whoever the Redskins use will probably have a good day. The only reason it was close last week was because the Rams defensive scheme forced Stafford into some interceptions. RG3 will probably throw a couple of picks, but the Native American Skins should win.
