Olson-for-Heisman is pretty much a walking Encyclopedia of very relevant stats.

I will admit that some of them are pretty obscure, although this isn't one of them.

Anyone who bets games knows that west coast teams struggle mightily playing 1:00 pm Eastern games.

It's only irrelevant in hindsight, which is why I posted the wikipedia entry to "outcome bias."

As 55 said, West Coast teams struggling in early games on the East Coast is not a novel concept. The Cardinals are 26-80 in games played on the East Coast for a reason. Similarly, the Pats were 14 point favorites for a reason. Which is why it's stupid to antagonize me after the fact.

The Cardinals are 126-196 in the past 20 years. I think being a historically awful team has some bearing on being terrible against east coast teams no?

NFC West aren't a laughing stock anymore in the NFL.

San Francisco beat Green Bay In Lambeau

Arizona beat New England in Foxboro

Seattle beat Dallas easily.

And St. Louis nearly beat Detroit last week in Detroit.

Laugh all you wanna but I think the NFC West will be competitive and real strong the next few years..

I still can't believe what happened lol. I was cuzzing up a storm when Williams fumbled, than a few minutes later I'm dancing around my place like a little kid hahaha! Awesome game by our Defense and Kolb for once didn't lose us the game or our Oline. There were throws that Kolb missed, some easy throws for first downs or one for a TD to Heap. Also our Oline gave up first downs by holding or just letting the NE DE's get around our sorry left tackle........ We left at least another 10points on the field......

I do enjoy this win and it just echoes how good the Cards D was last year and now this year. I honestly didn't think we could win, but the way they played D this game makes me even more hopeful that they will beat GB in GB.

Like someone else pointed out, Arizona also has been pretty awful for much of the storied franchise.
As well, having to play very good teams in the Giants, Eagles and Redskins every year when they were in the NFC East.
