I keep hearing it was because of helmet to helmet contact. If thats the case, shouldnt every player who get fined be suspended? Why was he suspended and not other players for helmet to helmet contact?

Have you seen the replay or did you just hear about it? It wasn't just a routine helmet-to-helmet hit, Mays led with his helmet, into Schaub's helmet, and drove upwards. To me, it looked malicious. Maybe that wasn't his intent, but that's certainly how it looked.
