Buffalo hasn't won a game three time zones to the left since 2004 - the year Mike Mularkey, Drew Bledsoe and the No. 2 defense in the NFL almost took the team to the playoffs - when, in Week 16, they trounced the 49ers 41-7 before a Week 17 loss derailed their playoff hopes.
I remember this game, because it was the only one from that season that I wasn't able to watch because it was never shown on TV. Such a sour season 2004 was.

I am hoping that the offense can get it going and get some touchdowns on the board this game, instead of having to settle for FGs.

Well, if they gave up 250 rushing yards to the Pats of all teams...its not looking good.

They also allowed 2 100+ yard rushers in Stevan Ridley and Brandon Bolden.

So 136 for Gore,112 for Hunter and 87 for Kapernick?

One game does not equal another game. Our defense probably got shredded on the ground because we were so worried about Brady and the pass... Though we didn't do much good stopping him, either.

I think the 49ers offensive potential is nearly unlimited, but the Pats are still the undisputed offensive champs.

Lets not forget the 49ers were just upset by the Vikings in Week 3. They're not invincible. But the odds of the Bills winning this game are slim. I'm not expecting a blowout either, though.

The run offense potential is nearly unlimited. It's not even operating at full capacity. Passing...not so much.

In addition to the Bills coming off a sole destroying "reversal of fortune" versus the mighty Patriots (boy, do I ***** them) and traveling to the West Coast to face a very fine young, well coached club...they have tonight's AZ vs. STL game to consider...

If Kolb and the upstart Cards go 5-0, then SF will have EVEN MORE motivation to keep pace in the NFC West...

As much as I'd love to see the Bills turn things around and make this an interesting season again for them, I have a feeling I'm going to be glad I have the Sunday Football Ticket Package...

Go Bills!

If the pass game could convert on 3rd downs and hit deep balls more often, I think it would be.

Those two, especially the 3rd down conversions are huge IMO.
