I'm confused, why do we care if it's ruled a run or a pass? Maybe I'm missing something.

The OP doesn't like QB's racking up passing stats on shovel passes.

Ehh I really don't care whether or not the QB gets credit for it being a pass. Not sure why exactly it matters but to each their own.

I say this as a HUGE fantasy sports fan... I think fantasy football has brought too much attention to stats in real football. Who cares how something is scored or who gets statistical credit for what? This is the sport where wins and loses are all that matters. Is Foster a bad back now because he only had about 30 yards last night (even though they had to go pass happy and then put int he backup's backup at the end)? This is exactly why relying heavily on stats to judge players makes no sense.
