Of course Baltimore still controls their own fate and not that much has really changed from last week, but I'm still going to enjoy this.
How is this possible? Baltimore won the head to head. Is the first tie breaker division record (and that would be assuming the Pats have swept their division up to this point)?

Re: Playoff Standings

NFC is a giant fustercluck. Atlanta pretty much has the #1 seed just about locked up, but other than that...yeah. If San Francisco could beat the Rams, just even once, they might have a shot. The last wild card slot will be a battle thats for sure.

AFC looks pretty set aside from the two wild cards. Two divisions are clinched, with the Texans most likely will win their division. Pittsburgh has a shot at the division, but I doubt they win it. Indy, Pitt and Cincy will most likely battle it out for the two wild card spots.
Will be interesting to see where everybody is seeded. Big matchups coming up, Houston@Pats, Denver@Baltimore.

Barring an epic Seattle collapse, they have that 2nd wildcard spot. That W from the GB game may come into play big time.

Re: Playoff Standings

Gonna be some upset Teams/Owners if that happens, whether it's fair or not.

Re: Playoff Standings

Epic collapse is still possible depending on when those Sherman/Browner suspensions occur.

First tie breaker is winning percentage in head to head games between the three teams.

Patriots are .500 and the Ravens are 1.000.

Ravens would still be the second seed with a game against the Broncos coming up in a couple weeks.

I thought that was the case, however, ESPN has it as New England 2nd seed.

'Wins tie break over Denver and Baltimore based on best win percentage in conference games.'

http://espn.go.com/nfl/standings/_/t...nk/order/false

Also, Pack, even though Seattle beat us, if we both somehow end up 8-8 or 9-7, I think I would definitely feel a certain way towards it. As long as they end up a game 'better' than I have no personal gripe from my end.

Although it is true, a lot has happened since then, Cowboys have blown more games that they could have had, etc etc.

IDK man, no way you guys lose to Arizona and then just have to get one to be in, I think. 9 gets you in.

EDIT: Messing around with the ESPN Playoff Machine and too many possibilities to break down. For my team, must win out to have a legit chance, and that isn't going to happen unless something magically changed overnight.
