Week 12: Oakland Raiders (3-7) @ Cincinnati Bengals (5-5)

Carson Palmer returns to Cincinnati. Expect a lot of boo's and it will be an interesting atmosphere at PBS, but I don't think it will have an effect on the Bengals. Over half of the players were not on the team when Carson was here. Bengals are in a great position to get their 3rd straight win and stay in the wildcard race.

Bengals still having trouble selling out, so apparently not that much excitement for Palmer's return.

Two teams headed in absolutely opposite directions. No word on McFadden's status but it probably doesn't even matter. Bengals should win this one comfortably.

I'm sure that the Bengals are ecstatic. The Raiders play like crap in early games, and have a sieve for a defense.

The real drama will be whether the Bengals score more than 40 points. The Raiders stalwart D stepped up last week and held the Saints to only 38. But that was at home, so I fully expect them to allow Dalton to have a career game and the Bengals to put up 40 or even 50

That is an all too familiar event in Cincinnati. Every game for the rest of the season will probably be blacked out, except the Cowboys game.

Pretty much.
I expect the Bengals to win this game comfortably, 24-10.

Only 24 points? That's generous going against the team that's allowed more points than any other in the NFL and at least 30+ in 6 of 10 games this season (and 38+ pts in each of the past 3 weeks).

I originally was going to go with 41-27, with the Raiders getting the last 7-10 points in garbage time.

I still somewhat have a feeling that this will be a letdown game for the Bengals too, for whatever reason. Now that they are back in the playoff hunt, it is only a matter of time until something happens negative towards them.
