Sports talk shows wonder what is wrong with them Win only when they have too. So they ask Why?

I grew up with the 70s Steelers and sometimes they played like that.
But When It came time to get in the playoffs. Watch out.!!!
the Giants are the same way. The NEW YORK GIANTS are a MONEY team JUST like My Steelers of the 70s. its ALL about the Super Bowl..
I am NO fan of the Giants but I do admire the way they Win FOR the SB..
Im thinking we may have NyG vs Ne Pats #3 SB this year.

Inconsistency. And they tend to get comfortable when everything is going good. But this isnt the week for that heading to the GA Dome.

Every team has let down games every year. How the Giants get so much attention for being like every other team in the league is pretty funny.

What's wrong with them? The same as most other teams. Too inconsistent. There are plenty of teams that if they put it together, are world beaters.

I just wont buy this commentary that the Giants are a team that always chokes late and scrambles to put it together or they play up and down to the competition like this is something only the Giants do. When every team suffers this in some form or another. The Giants winning two superbowls under these circumstances makes it seem like an exclusive trait or rather magnifies it to them. So I dont want to comment on "whats wrong with the Giants" as an organization characterized by having down games, and tough stretches. This is every team in the league.

But if you want me to rant about what is actually wrong with this year's NY Giants team I can, but just read any Giants game thread from this year as Ive gone on about it at length. Few teams can completely dominate the entire season long, and schedules play a role. The Giants just arent one of those teams, and never has been.

It isn't exclusive to NYG, but it seems damn near every year they start hot, slump, then either back into the playoffs or win 2-3 to get there.

I don't know if I trust them to make another Super Bowl if they're hosting a playoff game. On the road though, I'd put them up against anyone. They are a hot and cold team, and their hot side is REALLY good. I believe as Eli goes, the Giants go. With a nod to the defense as well.
