Only reason I would be, if we play them, is because of the void we have through the middle of our defense. I'm still not SOLD on them on the road, but then again, if we were to win this week, we aren't much at home anyway!

Watched that hit again and all I see is a clean, GREAT play by Kam Chancellor.

Beautiful. For once, we're the team with the nasty streak, rather than a finesse club that gets cracked on by opposing fan bases. In 2005, all I heard was that we were a soft football team. This year, not so much.

It will be a daunting task going on the road for the playoffs, but we'll see what happens. The talent is there; the maturity may not be. Either way, this has been one hell of a season and gives us some great building blocks for the future.

Agreed. It's hard not to be excited about this teams future. If the young talent develops and stays together the sky's the limit. Really looking forward to the playoffs.

The NFL will not be fining Chancellor for that hit.

As expected, Chancellor was not punished for the hit that knocked 49ers tight end Vernon Davis out of last week’s game.

Frankly, it was the kind of clean, hard shot that ought to be distributed as a teaching tool, to players and officials. Chancellor put a shoulder pad to Davis’ chest, and separated the ball from Davis in the process.
