This year has actually been somewhat refreshing. Stafford is the only one that has a chance at 5k and he's 303 yards from it. And guys like Rodgers, Schaub, Rivers, Eli, etc. may not even break 4k this year.

There is no poetic justic, SF was in FG range before the penalty was called, so if they dont get it they attempt a FG from further out, its not as if they were at midfield, 3rd down and got a gift putting them in scoring position.
