That is just beyond pathetic and sad.

As soon as the Lions kicked a field goal in the 4th, I had a feeling that would be game over with the Falcons driving for the clinching score.
This team has been like that for awhile now. Stafford is putting up similar yardage, but we're too busy turning the ball over or just being idiots to win.

Could someone tell me why Stefan Logan is returning kicks and punts for the Lions? He seems clueless back there.

Many of us Lions fans wonder the same thing.

That kneel down on the free kick was stunning. He should be cut after the game.

Falcons looked very, very good, although against a bad team. It's sad to see Megatron having to be the workhorse of the Lions just like Barry Sanders was. The Lions always know how to draft that one superstar and then seem to be okay with mediocrity in all their other draft picks. Most have raw talent but have so many character issues, they will never have what it takes to excel. Even Suh would have been considered a great draft pick if not for his attitude and dirty play.

As a Falcon fan it's great to see Chris Houston doing well on a team but he just doesn't have what it takes to be a star CB, that is why we traded him for a sixth rounder. Matthew Stafford is a good guy but he is way too skiddish in the pocket, far to often with pressure he either throws it to Calvin Johnson double/triple covered our throws it away even when someone else is open, causing far too many turnovers. I'd like to see the Lions be able to take that next step but just like Dallas had to learn, it's not going to happen till they learn to draft better.

Glad to see the Falcons maintaining their hot streak, gonna need it if we have a prayer of winning a playoff game. Gotta keep everyone healthy and rested, while still keeping them ready for the big games. Now is the time missing Bent Grimes (torn Achilles) and Curtis Lofton (lost to FA to Saints) could come back and hurt us.

I don't think we're missing Lofton too much. He was a two down linebacker and a huge liability in pass coverage. While Akeem Dent is nowhere near what Lofton was on downs one and two, he is still serviceable for the time being. Plus the breakout of Sean Witherspoon into a defensive star has helped greatly.

As for Grimes, yes, he will be missed as he was a top ten CB in the NFL (at least I think so) and an amazing ball hawk. However, what's incredible is how McClain has stepped up and done a great job as the third CB.

^ Whoa, he can actually have a decent discussion about football!
