Re: AFC Champs

AFC is wide open. Houston has looked sketchy the last few weeks but we have some really nice quality wins in there, along with a nice assortment of winning in different ways.

Beat Denver in Denver, DEMOLISHED Baltimore after getting rocked against Green Bay, Chicago on SNF in the rain, the comeback against Detroit, shootout against Jacksonville, pretty much dominated Indianapolis after getting rocked in NE. Nice little mix there and out of the teams they lost to, two have two of the top 3 QBs in football and one was a playoff contender fighting for their lives.

I don't think we'll win the AFC this year, mainly because our offensive line is messed up and the loss of Brian Cushing has really destroyed what we do on the defensive end, but I wouldn't be surprised if we do.

If I had to put money RIGHT now, I'd put it on Denver. Their quality wins aren't much (not that I care, to me wins are wins and you have to look at each one specifically and how they've dominated lesser competition) but Peyton is dominating, Knowshon Moreno is somehow revitalized (gee, wonder why), and the defense is killer. I knew I should have put money on them before the season started, or at least once I heard Peyton was considering them.

Well if they get lucky and go to the super bowl i can assure you they wont win it because the NFC is stonger better teams and i think the 49ers,Seahawks or Falcons would destroy denver because there just far better teams... But being 2nd is good sorry broncos fans its just not ur time.. U have already won ur only super bowls u will see for a vary long time in 97 and 98... Go Chiefs.

You don't sound biased or anything.

Really though, take away Manning and put in an average QB, and this Broncos squad would likely still be in the playoffs. McGahee/Moreno are getting the job done at HB, thanks in part to a solid OLine. The defense is lead by Champ, Miller, D-Ville, and Woodyard. Trinton Holiday gives Denver an explosive return man.

Arian Foster's condition has to be factored in at this point.

Re: AFC Champs

I don't know why, but I have a good feeling about the Pats.

I have to disagree. Denver only lost 3 games all year, all three of them were close at the end, and all three teams have 11+ wins right now. They have a great defense coupled with an elite QB and come playoff time that is a deadly combination. Denver is capable of beating any team in the AFC and it wouldn't surprise me if they're still around in February.
