It's the NFL man. Any given Sunday and all that.

One of the best things to come from Brandon Browner serving his suspension plus Trufant/Thurmond being hurt has been Jeremy Lane/Byron Maxwell getting great experience. Now for the playoff run, we have the starting secondary in full force, plus fantastic depth with Lane/Maxwell, and Thurmond if he ever heals up.

The Cards-Niners game will be played simultaneously, correct? If SF were to jump out to a big lead early is it possible that Carroll would consider pulling his starters?

If I had to guess, I doubt it. I think he'll pull the starters if we go up big on the Rams, but my guess is he wants to keep the guys in a rhythm for the playoffs as much as possible if the game remains close enough. I agree, I think we need to win Sunday to keep the momentum going.

Nice - I was going to add those details but was a little foggy, other than McCoy falling down on the last pick, on the details. Spot on.

Of course the average fan who didn't watch the game just sees Wilson's stats and assumes he was terrible - which wasn't the case in week 4.

I was just going to say the same thing.

Anyone's game at this point, Niners don't looks so hot today either so the Hawks need to step it up.
