I feel like this is akin to answering "What's a better animal? An orange or a hat?"

They're completely different players and I find it really difficult to compare the two (other than basing it on effort).

Re: Who Has A Better Career. Randy Moss or Ray Lewis..?

I think it's Lewis hands down. The thing with Moss is no matter how great his numbers look by the end of his career there's still going to be a "woulda, coulda, shoulda" factor with him because for long stretches of his career he just didn't give a damn which impacted his numbers. You have to remember this guy was supposed to break all of Jerry Rice's numbers. I don't think that's quite possible but he never really put the effort into the game 100% of the time so you can't even say he tried his best.

At least in the case of Ray Lewis, no matter your opinion on him the man left it on the field EVERY game even if his numbers were declining he was still producing as a leader on the team and as someone who can come up with the huge play every once in a while.

Great players....and i will just say this....

There are only a few players (and I mean 3 or 4) that I would rather go up against than a motivated Randy Moss in his prime.

I hate when people say something like this and I knew I was going to get this type of answer. How about who has a better career at their respective position..?

Re: Who Has A Better Career. Randy Moss or Ray Lewis..?

As a Viking fan I watch Moss for a long time. He did have all the tools to be the best receiver that we would of ever seen but lacked the motivation to do so. I cant tell you how many times he would just trot around on the field and just not care. But when he did watch out, he was a monster and virtually no one could stop him.

As for Ray Lewis, I dont like him at all. He does deserve to be in the HoF however I dont think he is the as great as everyone makes him to be.

I will say though that Ray Lewis did and as much as I hated him he did never quit.

Odd nugget: both Ray Lewis and Randy Moss are undefeated against the Dallas Cowboys. #cowboysInEveryThread
