What a tough way to lose but I see a lot of progress with this team despite the result. It felt more like they "lost" rather than being thoroughly outclassed which I guess is a good thing.

I think Marrone may need to rethink an aspect of the offense but i'll save that for the Bills thread.

Stressful game. My god. And it's only week one.

Good game to the OS Bills fans. Looks like your franchise finally has something under center in EJ. See y'all in the final week of the season at Gillette.

BTW I gotta give it up for Amendola. The guy came back into the game and made some AMAZING catches. As much as I hate New England that was a good win for them considering it's the Brady, Amendola and Edelman show right now.

EJ Manuel looked good put there, hopefully he can keep it up.

Re: Week 1: New England Patriots @ Buffalo Bills

Numbers aside, EJ Manuel looked like the best rookie QB today. (Obviously only Week 1 though). Very promising start, and I admit I didn't see it coming. He really locked in on a receiver in camp and in the pre-season, and didn't really get through his reads at all. He did that some today. That was big.

Regarding the Patriots, any idea what's going to happen to Ridley now?

I think I watched Shane Vereen take his job on TV this afternoon.
