Its not a bad decision to try that again. I mean you will have a rookie in Rambo back there and the other safety position will either be Brandon Merriweather who has been battling a groin injury and is coming back from an ACL or Reed Doughty who isn't anywhere near as fast as DJax.
LOL! I made this exact statement to a co-worker an hour or so ago. Talked about that play and how it just killed the excitment right off the bat.

I'm so freaking nervous... I get out of work around 3 today (OT) so I'll have plenty of time to get ready and settle in

Re: Week 1 MNF: Philadelphia at Washington

Standing in line at Navy Federal in Quantico, I was wearing an eagles logo polo shirt just bought at the eagles gift shop yesterday while I was in town for Braves/Phillies....

Anyway the guy in front of me turns around, looks at my eagles shirt, and very smugly tells me I have bird **** on my shirt, pointing at the eagles logo LOL.

We had a very candid conversation and it was fun....but for his sake I hope we beat the absolute **** out of Washington and send the fan base into a frenzy on Tuesday talk radio lol.

This is probably the most excited I've been for a season opener since...well 27 years.

It will be interesting to see how 10 year vet and 320+ pounder Jason Peters holds up in this uptempo offense for four quarters. Vick, is claiming that it's “something like you’ve never seen before”.

Re: Week 1 MNF: Philadelphia at Washington

Going with Philadelphia in this one. Even though the Eagles defense looked horrid at times during the preseason, I'm not sold on RG3 being able to step right in and be effective.

Should be a good game either way. Interested in seeing what the Eagles offense looks like. And of course what RG3 can do.

Re: Week 1 MNF: Philadelphia at Washington

A couple people from my job are actually going to this game. Got offered a chance to go but I refuse to sit in that traffic, especially today where it'll be way worse than it usually is(which isn't saying much).

Wouldn't be surprised to see few empty seats in the lower levels to start out.

Via Redskins Twitter

Brandon Merriweather is inactive tonight, now I'm really worried. David Amerson and Baccari Rambo both starting tonight. The front seven needs to get to Vick fast.
