Week 3: Indianapolis Colts (1-1) @ San Francisco 49ers (1-1)

This one is gonna be really interesting, especially with the Colts having to travel out to The Stick and the 49ers coming off of that horrible performance in Seattle.

I can see this one being closer than people may think it will be, but who knows.

40Whiners cover the spread and win 33-20. I expect Squidward to pass for over 250 yards and run for over 60. With that said I hope I am wrong cause I am going to be cheering for the Colts.

I think we get back to running the ball this week.

If we can force some turnovers and Luck catches fire, we stand a good chance to win. Otherwise this is going to be a loooooong day for Indy.

The 49ers on paper have several large advantages. Most notably their D-line/front 7 vs the Colts O-line. We have no one to block Aldon Smith or Justin Smith. I also think Boldin is in for a big day vs our finesse CB's. His frame and physicality should cause us fits. Also Kaep could have a big day on the ground(we all saw what Pryor did to this defense...), if not him then maybe Gore has his breakout game of 2013.

I expect the Niners to win by 2 scores. I don't see Indy getting blown out because our offense can strike pretty quick at times and Luck usually keeps us in games.

Anyway, a couple side notes.. It's a little reunion here for Harbaugh this week. Going against Luck, Coby Fleener, and Griff Whalen all of whom he coached at Stanford and even Colts OC Pep Hamilton was on Harbaugh's staff in 2010. Not only that but Harbaugh is coaching against the Colts who he himself was the QB of in the mid 90's. It's weird how things work out sometimes.

If we can keep the Niners dline off of Luck then I can see this being a very close game. Losing Donald Thomas for the year and having a rookie replace him is going to make that tough to do, though.

I can see Kaep going off for a bunch of rushing yards too, seeing as we couldn't stop Terelle Pryor from doing it.

Gonna be realistic here and say I'd be surprised if the Colts pulled this off. They're completely outmatched at almost every position. Please let me be wrong.

Hey guys new Colts bandwagon fan here. I hope they keep it close and give Luck a shot at the end to do his thing.

If Luck gets time to throw all he has to do is look for Asomugha and throw his way. Luck will have a field day then.

Seriously, what happened to him? Used to be one of the most feared corners in the league now he's just a punchline.
