Best Browns QB since 1999

Seen this article yesterday on ESPN about Weeden needing surgery, but inside the article they listed the great list of the last 18 starting QBS for the browns. The question that me and a friend was wondering was who would be consider there best QB out of these 18
Tim Couch
Derek Anderson
Ty Detmer
Brady Quinn
Doug Pederson
Ken Dorsey
Spergon Wynn
Bruce Gradkowski
Kelly Holcomb
Jake Delhomme
Jeff Garcia
Colt McCoy
Luke McCown
Seneca Wallace
Trent Dilfer
Thad Lewis
Charlie Frye
Brandon Weeden

The sad thing is I was actually able to make a case for Anderson due to his success with the browns, but who would you guys consider the best browns starting QB since 1999?

WOW! That is a lot of garbage QB's on that list. And I thought the Bears had it bad with QB's before the arrival of Jay Cutler.

But I guess Derek Anderson would be my pick as well.

Re: Best Browns QB since 1999

That is garbage indeed. The Bears went through a crap ton of QBs between the McMahon Era and the Cutler Era. In fact here's a list of QBs that have started for the Bears in that period (1989-2009)

Mike Tomczak
Jim Harbaugh
Peter Tom Willis
Will Furrer
Steve Walsh
Erik Kramer
Dave Krieg
Rick Mirer
Steve Stenstrom
Moses Moreno (who the hell?!?)
Shane Mathews
Cade McNown
Jim Miller
Chris Chandler
Henry Burris
Kordell Stewart
Rex Grossman
Craig Krenzel
Chad Hutchinson
Jonathon Quinn
Kyle Orton
Brian Griese

That's a LOOONG list and only slightly better than what the Browns have endured.

Unfortunately, Garcia didn't play the way he played in Cleveland when he was playing for the Niners.
