The Bears haven't contained any competent QB/#1 WR duo they've faced yet. Tillman is clearly playing through injuries already, and who knows how long he'll last in this game. What makes you think the Bears have any chance to contain Calvin Johnson?

Lions need to win this game, because by the time they go to Chicago, the Bears might be clicking on all cylinders, which will be frightening. Their D is doing what they always do and Culter has weapons, a run game and seeming has protection. Broyles needs to step up and Bush needs to be ready to go. Like always, lets try to keep the dumb mistakes and penalties to a minimum. It would be great to have the momentum going into Green Bay next week.

Nothing about these two teams screams low scoring to me right now, especially if Bush is ready to go.

I think Detroit has a good shot at winning and that this game may set the tone for us up till the bye week at least.

I see this being an exciting game. Losing Burleson hurts but I have faith on Broyles to step up, when he has played, his showed some great potential. Fauria continues to impress and I imagine Pettgrew is gone by the end of the year. Nice to have Bush back, him and Bell are making a nice tandem at running back. I see Calvin having a big one here.

Will be interesting to see how much time Devin Taylor gets. Losing Jason Jones is way bigger than losing Burleson, he can line up all over that D-Line. Apart from that, I'm not too concerned about our defense, they have done well so far.

Containing Bennett needs to be the key here, Marshall goes either way depending on if Houston takes him away. But Cutler clearly has an eye for his new tight end.

Also, despite the improvment I think the D-Line casues havoc for Cutler.

Re: Week 4: Chicago Bears (3-0) @ (2-1) Detroit Lions

Tillman was still being held out of practice, and while it sounds like many expect him to play, his early health woes trouble me. Really need him for Sunday, but at the same time maybe he needs some early rest. The fewer losses on that side of the ball, the better.

I'm looking at Jeffries and the other Bennett to stand out on the offensive side of things. Earl Bennett just waiting in the wings, going to have a huge game at some point, and hoping this is it. I could see Cutler starting to rely too much on his new TE game. They've done a great job of spreading the ball around as a whole, though, so hoping that continues.

Still going against the general consensus and saying this will be the Bears most complete game of the young season. This team is a legitimate contender, and the way they've come out has me thinking they're close to firing on all cylinders.

Cutler throwing deep from his back foot is never a good idea. That was a terrible throw. Gonna have to stop the bleeding and try to come back again in the second half.
