Re: Week 5: Carolina Panthers @ Arizona Cardinals

Today I can't blame him too much. I do blame him for the pick we he underthrew Smitty when he was one on one with Petersen.

The late picks were more of a result of the weak *** O line.

Bottom line receivers need to catch the ball. Smitty dropped one which would have been a TD. Lafell dropped a big 4th down conversion.

The very last INT he had 5+ seconds in the pocket. That will be forgotten and people will just see the deflection and say the pressure caused the INT.

I'll be listening tomorrow for you when you call in and protect Cam while asking for Rivera to get outta town.

Haha, I am not that guy.

But, I do listen to soothe my Monday Morning frustration.

Cam is way too indecisive though when his primary target is covered. Don't know if that will ever improve.

Talk radio on Monday will put all of the blame on Rivera, the O-Line, and a couple key drops by Panther WRs. None of the blame will go on Cam as always. Keep in mind this is the Charlotte local radio station, not a national source of news. The city is married to Cam and the fan base will hold onto what could be with him. I'm assuming the city of Atlanta had a similar situation with Vick.

All hype and no results
I'm curious as to why include Vick and Atlanta when those Falcons teams were pretty good with Vick...

Vick had flashed of greatness but that was it. He never took the next step.

A Notre Dame fan would certainly be an expert on that.

Didn't get to watch the game, but I'm not surprised by the outcome. Carolina just isn't a very good team.

Perhaps, but Vick was in a much better situation and team than Cam ever was.

Don't see why Cam should be getting the main share of the blame. The Panthers coaching staff is, at best, antiquated and at worst, total incompetence.

I mean, when Mike Shula is your OC, you have some serious problems.
