Week 5: New Orleans Saints (4-0) @ Chicago Bears (3-1)

Noon on Fox.

I can't get a bead on how good the Bears are. They beat the Bengals, which so far is their only quality win, but also dropped one to Detroit.

Meanwhile, The Saints defense is getting progressively better. Last year the Saints allowed 130 points through 4 Games. This year it's 55.

But, you know, Brees can't win outside of a dome, narrative, etc. etc.

I really dislike the Bears. Hopefully we see a lot of Jay yelling at his linemen.

Saints finally beat the Bears in '11, now let's see if they can go on the road to win.

I'm not really impressed with the Bears D at all this year, they seem to thrive on mistakes so it'll be interesting to see how they match up against an offense that's making few mistakes.

The Bears staff will make sure the field is in great shape for the domers.

Da Bears take this one. It's going to be tough to beat them in Chicago this season. Saints will make it one helluva game though. 34-31 Bears.

This is a big game for the Saints, the next chunk of the schedule is pretty tough so if we can pull a win out here it will be huge. I'm not expecting Brees to throw for 5 TD's (maybe 4 and 1 rushing ) but I believe with the play of our defense we should be able to hang in there for a tough victory. Plus Cutlers turnovers seem to come in bunches when they happen.

Analyst's keep pointing out the tight win against Tampa but fail to realize those are always tough games due to being inter division so even though it was "outside" the dome I credit that game to more of a divisional familiarity then the Saints playing bad on the road.

Field? You mean that green painted dirt you guys play on lol.

On a serious point, the Saints are actually a fairly good road team under Payton but Brees has historically had poor games at Soldier field. For some reason I see both teams turning the ball over a good amount, with a lot of points on the board.

I give the Bears the edge in this one though, mainly because of the versatility of Forte; he's going to give the Saints some problems. I've given the Saints Defense a lot of props but I don't believe they've faced a Back as talented as Forte yet this season. Closest probably Doug Martin in Week 2, and he had a good game against them.

I hate when the Saints go to Chicago. Never fun, but I still think we will win.
